OCD Specialist
Telehealth-based Individual psychotherapy Using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
What you can expect from me
In our first session, my goal is to create a calm, supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and never judged. I know starting therapy—especially for OCD—can feel intimidating, so I take time to slow things down and help you get comfortable before we dive into anything challenging.
During this initial meeting, we’ll talk about:
What brings you to therapy right now
How OCD & Anxiety shows up in your daily life
Your goals, values, and what you hope to change
Any past treatment experiences—what helped and what didn’t.
I’ll also explain how OCD works from a clinical perspective and walk you through what ERP looks like in practice = psychoeducation. Many clients find it helpful to understand why OCD behaves the way it does and how treatment can interrupt those patterns.
By the end of the session, you can expect to have:
A clear understanding of how I conceptualize your symptoms
An initial roadmap for treatment
A sense of what ERP will look like for you specifically
Space to ask questions, express concerns, and set the pace
Most importantly, I work hard to create an environment where you feel safe, respected, and empowered. My approach is collaborative—I won’t push you into anything you’re not ready for. Instead, we’ll build trust, set shared goals, and take steps together at a pace that feels manageable and meaningful.
